Making Text Larger
The way this site is constructed allows you to change the size of text in our pages by using the increase text buttons top right of screen. Alternatively, the links below provide instructions on how to change the size of text in a wide range of browsers.
- Changing the text size in Windows browsers.
- Changing the text size in Mac browsers.

Screen Readers
You can download and install a free screen reader from Screenreader. Where downloading or installation of a screen reader is not allowed, from behind a firewall for instance, then a free online alternative is Web Anywhere. To use Web Anywhere, enter the web address into the location field at the top of the page - www.southsidepartnership.org.uk for example. Southside Partnership home page will then load into the Web Anywhere website and the screen reader should begin automatically.

Stylesheets
The presention of this site is driven by cascading stylesheets (CSS), so it is possible to modify the appearence of this site by use of your own stylesheet. The CSS Discuss web site provides a useful introduction to user stylesheets.
We provide some documents in PDF format, for which you will need the Adobe Acrobat reader. You can download Acrobat Reader free of charge from the Adobe web site. Please note Adobe offer an online conversion tool (from PDF to HTML) if you have trouble accessing PDF files.
As far as possible we have worked to the accessibility guidelines set out by the W3C WCAG in the construction of this site.
