Steve Maingot

I joined the Board in April 2001.  I also chair the Human Resources Committee.

Outside of Southside I am a Company Director and run my own Informatics Consultancy Services Practice.  I am currently a trustee for one other charity in the health field and Director of a Caribbean trading company.  I have extensive experience in the health service, education and voluntary sector.  This includes Board level responsibility for information services and community health commissioning across all health sectors.

I joined the Board in September 2006. I chair the Quality and Performance committee.

I currently work as a PFI Bid Manager for a large national construction company, focusing on social and extra care housing bids. Prior to this I worked for Surrey County Council, the Housing Association and a variety of service management and development roles within charities and not for profit organisations.

Patricia Connell-Julien

Patricia Connell-Julien

I was appointed to the Board in September 2006, and have been a member of the Fanon Sub-Committee.

I have a Social Science background and am currently employed as a Researcher for a leading London University. I specialise in Health Care Research, with interests in Criminology and Gender and Ethnic Relations. My previous employment was in Management in the Banking Sector, and in Health and Social Services. I am a Board Member of an NHS Trust, and previously served on the Board of a London Housing Association.

Yasmin Miller, Treasurer

Yasmin Miller

I joined the Board in July 2006. I am Treasurer and Chair  the Finance and IT Committee.

Outside Southside I currently work for the Learning and Skills Council. I was formerly an accountant, specialising in corporate tax. I have spent time developing and delivering mental health awareness training and, where possible, I still actively campaign for the elimination of stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues.
