Home & Dry delivers valuable support to vulnerable adults by providing a painting and decorating service aimed at keeping customers in their homes and happy. Home & Dry also provides training and work opportunities for our service users.
All our staff are trained in working with people with mental health support needs.
We provide:
- Painting, decorating, small repairs and home improvements
- Practical support to help sustain tenancies (including landlord advocacy to help negotiate with landlords with regard to repair and maintenance issues)
- Flexible response to the multiple needs of service users
- Training and work opportunities
Service users living in Southwark or Lambeth, aged 18 plus, can be referred by community mental health workers who will have identied that customers are living in premises which are in a state of severe deterioration and this is negatively affecting the way they live (delivery of this service is funded by Lambeth and Southwark councils for 144 people each year)..
