Southside Partnership - Supporting people to lead independent lives

How we work

Our mission is to support people to lead independent lives.

At Southside Partnership, there are four philosophies that underpin everything we do:

1. The personalisation agenda; this provides service users with consumer choice. We aim to provide our customers with a range of options for enhancing their lives and maintain the highest level of customer service.

2. Person Centred Working; each service user has a personal plan and they are actively supported to achieve their plan. Service user customers are encouraged to lead independent lives with the appropriate support to help them to do this.

3. Culturally Specific Services; we reflect the mutli cultural communities we work in and this drives our awareness of discrimination and disadvantage. We have a number of culturally specific services which include the Fanon Resource Centres (in Lambeth, Merton and Southwark) and our prison resettlement projects.

4. Service users at the heart of all that we do; we have service users as ambassadors, on consumer panels, helping us design and improve our services, and employed within our organisation.
